Bryan Adams Unveils 2 ‘KISS’ Tracks to Mark Launch of New Independent Record Label

Bryan Adams has recently unveiled his new independent record label, Bad Records, marking an exciting development in his career. To celebrate the launch, Adams has released a new double A-side single vinyl featuring two tracks, ‘War Machine’ and ‘Rock and Roll Hell’.

These songs, which Adams co-wrote with Jim Vallance and Gene Simmons for KISS’s 1982 album ‘Creatures of the Night’, represent the first official releases from his new label.

‘Rock and Roll Hell’, one of the featured tracks, is now available digitally and comes with a music video. The video showcases Adams performing on the rooftop of London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall during his recent residency there. Reflecting on the tracks, Adams recalled that he co-wrote these songs at the age of 22, during his early years as a songwriter.

Adams described receiving an unexpected call from producer Michael James Jackson, inviting him to write for ‘KISS’, which he was thrilled about. He noted that the tracks were a result of his collaboration with Gene Simmons and Jim Vallance.

Additionally, he shared that ‘Rock and Roll Hell’ was originally a song by Jim Vallance that had been released with Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and he suggested rewriting it for KISS.

Adams expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with ‘KISS’ and remarked on the enduring relevance of the song’s themes. He reflected on how these themes are still pertinent today, appreciating the chance he had back then to contribute to the band’s music.
