BTS' Jimin Announces Second Solo Album, 'MUSE'

BTS's Jimin is set to drop his second solo studio album, 'MUSE,' next month. This news comes from Jimin himself and his label, Big Hit Music. 'MUSE' follows his debut album 'FACE,' which came out in March 2023, about a year and a half ago.

Big Hit Music shared on the fan platform Weverse that 'MUSE' will "document his journey in search of the source of his inspiration" and highlight his "expanded musical spectrum." The album will feature seven tracks, including the already-released 'Closer Than This.' Jimin has also teased the album with a new clip on social media.

With 'MUSE,' Jimin joins other BTS members who are releasing music during their mandatory military service. Just last month, RM released his second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' and earlier this month, Jungkook dedicated a single to fans called 'Never Let Go.'

Meanwhile, Jin, the first BTS member to finish his military service, was discharged on June 12. To celebrate, he held a fan meeting in Seoul during the group's annual 'Festa' celebrations and performed an extended version of his solo song 'Super Tuna.'
