The South Korean seven-member band BTS has long held both musical and cultural sway around the world, and now their film-festival-style theatrical event is proving it yet again. 'BTS Movie Weeks,' which screened four specially selected concert films covering the group's pivotal career moments, took place in theaters across more than 80 countries from late September to early October.
The fact that the event has now exceeded the $10 million global box office milestone is a clear indication of how much their fandom still energises entertainment venues. Given that the band's eagerly awaited return is scheduled for the spring of 2026, this box office triumph serves as a prelude to the event.'

The four concert films that are part of 'BTS Movie Weeks' follow different stages of the group's history of live performances: 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue (Remastered)' from 2016, 'Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour The Final (Remastered)' from 2017, 'World Tour 'Love Yourself: Speak Yourself' London (Remastered)' from 2019, and 'Muster Sowoozoo (Remastered)' from 2021.

These films were shown in more than 80 territories and over 2,700 screens from 24th September to 5th October—with later screenings scheduled in South Korea, Vietnam and Japan for late October and early November. The format went beyond simply watching a concert movie: in many cinemas, fans were encouraged to bring their ARMY BOMB light-sticks, sing along and treat the screening as a communal event.
Box Office Success and the Comeback on the Horizon
According to Trafalgar Releasing and HYBE, 'BTS Movie Weeks' surpassed $10 million in global ticket sales, a major feat for an event cinema release. As the group gets ready for its much anticipated reunion in 2026, the milestone arrives at a crucial moment. With the completion of their military service commitments, the seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are all set to return to the live stage next year. A brand-new studio album and a massive world tour that is anticipated to begin in mid-2026 and make several stops in Asia, North America, and Europe are reportedly part of their comeback.
