BTS and Netflix have teamed up to host 'BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang,' a live performance event that will be aired live from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on 21st March, to commemorate the historic release. Fans worldwide will be able to watch this performance exclusively on Netflix, giving them a chance to see BTS play live for the first time since their break. Beginning at 8 p.m. KST (early morning in the U.S. and afternoon in Europe), the concert will include new songs from the latest album as well as possibly some well-known hits from the band's illustrious past.
As one of the first significant international live music events to be streamed on the platform, the livestream is significant for both BTS and Netflix. Behind the Scenes: 'BTS: The Return Documentary' on Netflix
BTS' return experience will be further expanded by Netflix with a feature-length documentary titled 'BTS: The Return,' which will debut on 27th March, just days after the livestream event. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bao Nguyen, the documentary offers an intimate look at the band's reunion as they worked on 'Arirang' and rediscovered their creative spark following time apart. The movie is anticipated to explore BTS' transformation from up-and-coming musicians to international celebrities, as well as the members' individual and group development throughout their break.
Viewers will witness how they got together in Los Angeles to record 'Arirang,' face the difficulties of going back into the spotlight, and consider how they have changed as people and musicians. 'BTS: The Return' seeks to strengthen the bond between BTS and its global fan base by documenting these moments and capturing the emotional essence of the group's return.

Backstage footage, candid interviews, and glimpses into the band's creative process are expected to make the film a heartfelt tribute to their resilience and unity.

The buzz over BTS' Netflix appearances is only getting started. BTS will start their 'Arirang World Tour' (2026–2027) after the concert and documentary are released. The tour, which will take place in dozens of cities in Asia, North and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, is expected to be the band's most ambitious yet, offering their full-group concerts to fans all over the world.
