Camila Cabello is once again poking fun at a viral moment that still follows her every holiday season.
In a TikTok posted on 24th December, the singer responded to a fan question about her 2021 White House performance, which went viral after she pronounced Christmas in a way that quickly became a meme. The video shows the question on screen asking why she says the word like that, while Cabello lip-syncs to a sound of people laughing, joking that it may seem funny, but feels very serious to her.
She captioned the clip by saying that December is a triggering time for her, standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree. Now 28, Cabello has clearly learned to laugh along with the moment, even if it still brings back memories.

Camila Cabello's Viral Performances
This is not the first time she has addressed the viral performance. In 2022, she shared a playful video where she pretended to coach herself on how to properly pronounce the word while singing 'I'll Be Home for Christmas.' After several exaggerated attempts to get it right, she gave up and joked that it would be fine anyway. She later released her own cover of the classic holiday song, originally made famous by Bing Crosby in the 1940s.
Cabello recently wrapped up her 'Yours, C Tour' in September, which supported her latest album 'C, XOXO.' Since then, she has mostly stayed out of the spotlight. Earlier this month, she told fans on Instagram that she had stepped away from social media as part of a digital detox.

She explained that taking a break from apps and constant online noise helped her feel calmer and mentally clear. Spending time reading books and watching films instead has given her space to recharge creatively, and she said she is excited to make new music from this calmer place in the coming year. She also reassured fans that while she has been quieter than usual, she misses them and hopes they are taking care of themselves.
