Cardi B Breaks Silence on Breakup With Offset

Cardi B has officially confirmed that she is currently single, addressing speculation surrounding her relationship with Offset. The 31-year-old rapper opened up on Instagram Live, sharing, "I've been single for a while now," as reported from a livestream recording posted on X (formerly Twitter).

In her candid discussion, she revealed a hesitancy to share the news publicly but felt that recent events signalled the right time. Expressing a desire for a fresh start in the upcoming year, Cardi B stated, "I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah… I'm excited."

This update on her relationship status follows their joint attendance at the TikTok In the Mix music festival in Mesa, Arizona, where they were not photographed together. Representatives for Cardi B and Offset have not yet responded to any comments.

During the Instagram Live session, Cardi B acknowledged that her recent social media activity contained "clues" about her relationship, pointing out that both she and Offset had unfollowed each other on Instagram the previous week. She remarked, "I don't know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or my Stories when I put on certain music or find my unfollowings."

On 4th December, the rapper known for 'Bongos' shared some mysterious messages on her Instagram Stories that hinted at potential relationship challenges, stating, "You know when you just outgrow relationships." She elaborated further, expressing, "I'm tired of protecting people's feelings... I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST."

Offset, who is 31 years old, also responded on his Instagram Story following the news of their unfollowing last week. He shared a clip from Scarface featuring Al Pacino exclaiming, "Hey, f--- you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me!"

In September, the couple, parents to 5-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Offset demonstrated his love with a grand gesture, adorning their home with numerous large bouquets of pink and red flowers. Expressing her gratitude on Instagram, the 'WAP' singer wrote, "Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection, and for being a great father to our children… I love so many things about you."

Offset reciprocated the sentiments in his own Instagram post, stating, "Since I met you, I've grown to become a better man. No matter what, you have my back, and I can trust you with my life. Blessed to have a loyal, strong woman on my side… you are my safe place in this crazy world."
