The Grammy-winning rapper recently revealed her plans for her third album after the long-anticipated release of her sophomore LP, which has yet to have an official drop date. During an Instagram Story session, she sang along to her Peso Pluma collaboration, ‘Put Em in the Fridge' and asked her followers if they would be interested in a Spanish-language album. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with nearly 480,000 fans voting and 79% in favour of the idea, showing significant support for a potential Spanish project.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting her sophomore album following the success of her Grammy-winning debut, ‘Invasion of Privacy’. She took to X to share that despite previous plans to release an album in 2024, those plans have changed. Back in March, she mentioned on Instagram Stories that she had around 100 unreleased songs for her second album. She reassured fans that she wouldn't let anxiety, haters, or even fans' opinions stop her from releasing new music this year.
She emphasised her determination by stating, “I promise y’all this year, I’m not letting my anxiety, I’m not letting what haters say, I’m not letting what fans say [stop me],” she said. “If I do a song, I’m gonna just f---ing drop it.” She further declared her commitment by saying, “Well, I’ve got no choice because I’m dropping my album this year.”

Recently, she released two solo singles, ‘Like What (Freestyle)’ at the start of the month and ‘Enough (Miami)’. These releases followed her announcement cover story for Vogue México y Latinoamérica, where she stated she would no longer release any more collaborations and would focus solely on solo singles.
This decision marks a significant shift in her music strategy, focusing more on her artistry. With the promise of her second album on the horizon and the possibility of a future Spanish-language project, fans have a lot to look forward to from the rapper, whose musical journey continues to evolve and surprise.
