Celine Dion Reflects on Emotional Standing Ovation at The 2024 Grammys

The pop queen Celine Dion had a very emotional time on her 2024 Grammy appearance.

The 56-year-old singer, who was featured on the 22nd April cover of Vogue France, opened up about her emotions during the esteemed occasion in a now-private ‘Life in Looks’ video for the publication. Even though she still struggles with stiff-person syndrome, Dion talked about how nervous and honoured she felt to give Taylor Swift the Album of the Year award for ‘Midnights’ and receive a standing ovation.

Dion thanked her son René-Charles for his support and thought back on the moment’s importance and the privilege of presenting Swift with the award. She expressed the intensity of emotion she felt by underlining the meaningful significance of the standing ovation she received.

Dion recalled her unusual choice of a mustard Valentino coat worn over a dusty pink gown when asked to describe her attire for the occasion. Dion, who was styled by Law Roach, cherished the support she had in embracing her uniqueness and wearing the coat with confidence.
