Céline Dion’s Makes Red Carpet Comeback For Documentary Premiere; Check Out Her Look!

Céline Dion and her son René-Charles Angélil shared a heartwarming moment on the red carpet at the screening of her new documentary. The iconic singer appeared radiant at the New York City event for ‘I Am: Celine Dion’, a Prime Video documentary that delves into her life as a legendary performer. The film also documents Dion’s struggle with the rare neurological disorder, stiff-person syndrome (SPS).

At the event, Dion, known as the ‘Queen of Power Ballads’, dazzled in an all-white ensemble featuring a long skirt and an elegant long-sleeved blouse. She completed her look with a silver belt, matching bracelets, and stud earrings. René-Charles complemented his mother’s elegance in a sharp black suit paired with coordinating dress shoes.

Dion shares René-Charles, along with twins Nelson and Eddy, with her late husband, René Angélil, who passed away in 2016 from throat cancer. In the documentary trailer, Dion reflects on her career and health challenges, saying, “I miss it so much. The people, I miss them. If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl.”

Directed by Oscar nominee Irene Taylor, ‘I Am: Céline Dion’ is set to premiere on Prime Video on June 25. The documentary provides an intimate look into Dion’s life, career, and her resilience in the face of SPS.

Despite her diagnosis in 2022, Dion made a surprise public appearance at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, where she received a standing ovation. She took the stage to present the award for Album of the Year to Taylor Swift, showcasing her enduring presence in the music industry.

For the Grammy Awards, Dion wore a stunning floor-length baby pink Valentino gown with a pleated bodice. She accessorised with Tiffany & Co. jewellery, including a 12+ carat diamond necklace, a 6-carat pear-shaped cocktail ring, and diamond bracelets.

She completed her look with a long camel coat by Valentino and styled her hair into a sleek bob. Her stylist, Roach, has been instrumental in her fashion transformation, dressing her in memorable red-carpet looks, such as the voluminous white Stephan Rolland Haute Couture gown she wore to the Billboard Music Awards.
