Charli XCX’s Teaser For ‘Beg For You’ Remix, Features Vernon from SEVENTEEN
Charli XCX and Vernon of SEVENTEEN are officially collaborating on a new remix of Charli’s previous track ‘Beg For You’.
The British pop diva shared a 30-second preview of an upcoming remix of ‘Beg For You,’ which originally featured Rina Sawayama, on Twitter on 23rd February. On the chorus of the remake, Vernon is seen harmonising with Charli XCX.
Charli XCX tagged Sawayama in addition to SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter page, indicating that the Japanese-English vocalist will remain on the remix. A.G. Cook, the head and producer of PC Music , was also named, despite the fact that he was not engaged in the original song’s production.
Vernon and Charli have yet to announce a firm release date for the new remix, but more information is expected in the coming days. The snippet also follows a series of online exchanges between Charli XCX and SEVENTEEN, which began when the former asked fans who they’d like to see her collaborate with on Twitter.
SEVENTEEN fans began suggesting that Charli collaborate with Vernon, a longtime fan of the singer-songwriter. As seen in a series of photographs shared by a fan on Twitter, the K-pop idol has repeatedly included the English singer’s music in his playlists and recommendations to followers.
Charli XCX revealed the most recent update earlier this week, when she uploaded a TikTok indicating that her collaboration with Vernon was in the works. “Soon…” she said in the caption that accompanied the photo.
