The Los Angeles premiere is organised in partnership with the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) Coalition, adding a significant dimension to the film’s message of advocating for gender equality in the workforce.

The evening will witness the presentation of the ERA Coalition Trailblazer Awards to iconic ‘9 to 5’ stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton, with Alyssa Milano doing the honours. While Fonda and Tomlin will grace the event in person, Parton will join remotely through a prerecorded video from Nashville.

The premiere will feature a stimulating panel discussion moderated by Lisa Ann Walter, delving into the documentary’s themes, women’s rights issues, and the crucial importance of passing the ERA, particularly in the context of the upcoming election year. Joining the conversation will be ERA Coalition President Zakia Thomas, ensuring a rich and insightful dialogue on these pressing matters.

The event is expected to draw a star-studded audience, including notable figures such as Cher, Rosie O’Donnell, Kathy Griffin, Donna Mills, Frances Fisher, and Maxine Waters, among others. The evening will also pay tribute to the late Dabney Coleman, a cherished co-star from ‘9 to 5’, adding a poignant touch to the celebration of women’s empowerment and equality.
