Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor in a powerful new 'Avengers: Doomsday' teaser, and this time the story is deeply personal. The preview confirms the return of Thor's adopted daughter, Love, played by Hemsworth's real-life daughter, India Rose Hemsworth.
Although low-quality footage of the teaser had already leaked online, this marks the first official confirmation that the scene is real.
What's in 'Avengers: Doomsday' Teaser?
In the clip, Thor reflects on a lifetime spent answering the call to honour, duty, and war. He explains that fate has now given him something he never expected: a child and a peaceful life untouched by battle. He asks the All-Fathers for the strength to fight one last time, defeat another enemy, and return home to his daughter—not as a warrior, but as a caring father who can teach her calm and kindness rather than violence.
This Thor-focused preview is the second in a series of 'Avengers: Doomsday' teasers that are playing exclusively in theatres ahead of Disney's 'Avatar: Fire and Ash.' The first teaser surprised fans by confirming the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. Reports also suggest another preview will spotlight original X-Men actors, including James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen.
India Rose Hemsworth first appeared as Love in 'Thor: Love and Thunder' in 2022. In the story, she is the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale. After Gorr's death, Thor takes Love into his care and becomes her guardian.

'Avengers: Doomsday' brings back directors Joe and Anthony Russo and also features Robert Downey Jr. in a new role as Doctor Doom. The character's arrival was teased in 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' setting up a massive crossover involving heroes from across the Marvel multiverse.
