Chris Martin and Tom Hanks Light Up SNL

Before Easter Day, SNL brought us great gifts in the form of a masterful throwback sort of show that was more for the 90s kids than anyone else. 

Chris Martin played a soulful, black-and-white rendition of ‘Shelter From The Storm’ in a beautiful tribute to Nobel-laureate Bob Dylan. The song we’d like to believe holds more water now than ever. And we’d personally like to thank Chris for being this shelter in this storm of uncertainty. 

The icing on the cake of this home-cast SNL special was that it was hosted by Tom Hanks who was making his first public appearance since his Coronavirus positive diagnosis.
