Chris Martin Honours Legends With Emotional ‘All My Love’ Performance at 2025 Grammys

During the 2025 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy paused to pay tribute to the industry leaders who passed away in the previous year.
Chris Martin of Coldplay, backed by a four-string orchestra, gave a moving rendition of ‘All My Love’ to kick off the yearly In Memoriam section. A special video honouring Liam Payne played on the screen as the 47-year-old singer, seated at the piano, started his tribute.
More names came up in recollection as the program went on, including Toby Keith, Wayne Osmond, Rich Homie Quan, Fatman Scoop, Cissy Houston, Kris Kristofferson, and Dickey Betts, among many more.

Quincy Jones, who died in November at the age of 91, was honoured with a special tribute earlier in the evening. Over the course of a multi-decade career, Jones received 80 Grammy nominations and 28 wins. Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Collier, Lainey Wilson, and Janelle Monáe all performed at the homage.
The service also honoured people impacted by the destructive wildfires that started in Los Angeles in January. Tens of thousands were forced to escape as a result of the fires, which also destroyed houses, businesses, and other structures and claimed 29 lives. In response, MusiCares and the Recording Academy started the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to aid musicians and aid in the prevention and relief of wildfires.
