Filming is in full swing for 'The Odyssey', Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated epic, with stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Zendaya recently seen on set in Scotland. The trio was spotted marking their first public appearance together on location since earlier this year.
Damon showed up on the Scottish coast set dressed head-to-toe as Odysseus. His look included a flowing dark green cape, Grecian-style tunic, armoured boots, and traditional cattle hide armour, evoking the mythical warrior he portrays. Meanwhile, Holland and Zendaya arrived by boat in casual clothes, not yet in costume, as they get ready to play Telemachus and a mystery role.
This latest shoot along the Moray coast follows earlier location work in Favignana, Italy, where Damon first unveiled his dramatic transformation into the legendary Greek hero. Their recent arrival in Scotland confirms that international production for Nolan’s ambitious adaptation is moving ahead steadily.

What Did 'The Odyssey' Trailer Offer?
An exclusive teaser trailer, which premiered ahead of 'Jurassic World: Rebirth', offered audiences a first glimpse of the film’s tone and visual style. In the clip, Holland’s Telemachus is seen in an emotional exchange with a character played by Jon Bernthal, while the distinct voice of John Leguizamo is heard, though details about his role remain under wraps.
Leguizamo recently shared his experience working on 'The Odyssey', describing Nolan’s direction as deeply visionary, likening the process to working with iconic directors of the past. He praised the film for its ambitious global scale, noting it spans seven countries, including Morocco, Greece, Sicily, and Los Angeles, where part of the movie is being shot — a nod to Nolan’s ongoing effort to bring major productions back to American soil.
