Dakota Fanning Shares Her Travel Essentials

Actress Dakota Fanning, star of the recent horror film ‘The Watchers,’ opened up about herself in a recent interview with PEOPLE.

In the interview, Fanning discussed her experiences as a former child star and actress and shared her must-have travel item. When asked about her self-care routine, she revealed that she takes a bath every night without fail, unless she needs to wash her hair. This routine is so ingrained that she continues it even while travelling. “That’s my only travel requirement: a bathtub. It can be a weird, gross one; I don’t care. I feel unsettled if I don’t take one,” she said.

In PEOPLE’s ‘One Last Thing’ segment, Fanning also shared a few more personal anecdotes. She recounted a time during her childhood acting days when a fan asked her to sign their chest or stomach, but her mom intervened, suggesting a paper instead.

She also mentioned a dream where all her teeth fell out, which made her anxious, though she hasn’t had any similar dreams since. Fanning revealed that the last time she stayed up late was on her 30th birthday, celebrating until 2 a.m. before heading home and ordering Taco Bell.

Additionally, she mentioned that she always keeps the backs of chairs with her character’s name from each set, and she has the entire chair from ‘I Am Sam.’

‘The Watchers,’ produced by M. Night Shyamalan and directed by his daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan, is currently in theatres.
