Dave Franco Joins Colleen Hoover’s Adaptations as The Latest Leading Man
While one Colleen Hoover adaptation is making waves at the box office, another is adding notable names to its cast. Deadline reports that Dave Franco has joined the lineup for ‘Regretting You’, an adaptation of Hoover’s novel. Franco will play Jonah, the new love interest of Morgan Grant, portrayed by Allison Williams, following the loss of her husband. Mckenna Grace will star as Morgan’s daughter, Clara.
This casting news comes as ‘It Ends With Us’, featuring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, continues to perform strongly, having earned $50 million domestically and $30 million internationally, bringing its global total to $80 million against a budget of $25 million.

Franco, known for his roles in comedies like ‘21 Jump Street’ and ‘Neighbors’, has recently been recognized with an Emmy nomination for his producing work on ‘Pam & Tommy’. He also appeared in the A24 erotic thriller ‘Love Lies Bleeding’.
Co-star Mckenna Grace is recognized for her performances in ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, and has voiced Natalia/Nocturna in ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’. Allison Williams, known for her role in HBO’s ‘Girls’ and her performances in ‘Get Out’ and ‘M3GAN’, also stars in ‘Regretting You’.
