David Beckham Reveals How He Persuaded Victoria to Star in Their Upcoming Docuseries

Victoria Beckham is getting ready to launch her own documentary series, but her husband David Beckham had to persuade her to agree. When the initiative was first announced in August, Victoria was first apprehensive about taking part, David revealed during a recent appearance on the ‘Today show’.

David acknowledged that convincing her wasn’t simple, but he thought she would succeed because of the popularity she received in his Emmy-winning documentary series, ‘Beckham’. He said that Victoria was the most notable character in his series, which motivated him to support her in sharing her personal story.

Victoria’s journey from ‘Spice Girls’ pop singer to a prosperous fashion and cosmetics tycoon will be the main topic of the upcoming documentary. David emphasized her commitment by stating that she has been working hard behind the scenes and developing her brand for the past 18 years. He believed audiences needed to witness her dedication and the work that goes into running her company.

A look at the Beckhams’ marriage and four children—Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—will also be provided by the series. Fans may witness more humorous moments, such as the widely shared dance video of Beckham, which David described as an impromptu, emotional moment, even though the exact instances are still unknown.

David highlighted how doing his own documentary series allowed him to think back on his work and tell unseen tales, and he believes Victoria will feel the same way. In an interview conducted in January 2024, Victoria said that working with David on the film was liberating since it allowed her to be less controlling and enjoy the process. She added that people are now approaching her more kindly as a result of the good reaction to ‘Beckham’, which she finds both shocking and satisfying.
