‘Deadpool 3’ Confirms Emma Corrin’s X-Men Character in The Film

Emma Corrin, known for her role in ‘The Crown,’ is set to join the cast of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ as Cassandra Nova, the malevolent twin sister of X-Men leader Professor Charles Xavier.

The announcement was officially confirmed on the film’s copyright, where Corrin’s name appears alongside her character, Cassandra. Speculations about Corrin’s involvement arose among fans after a mysterious bald head was glimpsed in the initial ‘Deadpool 3’ trailer. Marvel enthusiasts correctly speculated that Corrin would portray the character.

Cassandra Nova made her debut as Charles Xavier’s sinister twin sister in the New X-Men #114 comic written by Grant Morrison in 2001. In the comics, she originated as a psychic entity from the Astral Plane who became attached to Charles during gestation.

While plot details for ‘Deadpool 3,’ now titled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ remain undisclosed, the teaser hints at Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth encountering Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The Time Variance Authority pulls Wade Wilson through time for a covert mission.

The teaser begins at Wade Wilson’s birthday celebration, where he expresses gratitude to his friends and family before being abruptly interrupted by a knock at the door and whisked away by the TVA. As he embraces his Deadpool persona once more, he declares himself as the “Messiah” and “Marvel Jesus.”

The cast also includes Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and more.
