Did Chris Hemsworth’s Kids Disrupt His ‘Transformers One’ Recording?

Chris Hemsworth’s recording sessions for ‘Transformers One’ took an entertaining turn thanks to his kids. While promoting the film, director Josh Cooley revealed that all of Hemsworth’s voice work was done from his home in Sydney, where his children often interrupted the process. Cooley fondly recalled these “fun” remote sessions, highlighting how the actor balanced his responsibilities as a dad with his role as Optimus Prime.

During the recording, Cooley observed that Hemsworth’s children would occasionally burst into the room. “His kids would come running in, and he’d be like, ‘Oh, hold on, let me get lunch for them,’ or whatever it was,” he shared. This laid-back atmosphere made the experience enjoyable, with Cooley praising Hemsworth as a “phenomenal, great guy.”

Hemsworth shares three children—twin sons Sasha and Tristan and daughter India Rose—with his wife, model Elsa Pataky. The actor recently attended the Australian premiere of ‘Transformers One’ with his family, although India Rose was absent. This eagerly anticipated animated film serves as a prequel to the well-known ‘Transformers’ series, exploring the origins of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

The storyline focuses on the journey of these two iconic characters, who begin as allies before becoming bitter enemies. At Comic-Con, Hemsworth shared that he consulted his children before accepting the role.

“I had gone to my kids and said, ‘What do you think?’ And they said, ‘You have to do it,’” he recounted. This playful involvement underscored the family-oriented approach Hemsworth took while working on the film.

The playful interruptions during his recordings only added to the charm of Hemsworth’s portrayal, blending his commitment to family with his dedication to his craft. As fans await the film’s release, it’s clear that Hemsworth’s dual role as a superhero and a loving father makes for an inspiring combination.
