Sydney Sweeney has recently stirred up some controversy. The actress posted a picture on her Instagram story showing her television screen, where she was watching NBC’s 'Law & Order: Organised Crime.' However, fans quickly noticed something familiar about the layout of the streaming service she was using.
The image, which has since expired, was screenshotted and shared online. Observant fans began to speculate that Sweeney might be using an illegal streaming service called FlixTor, recognising the interface. One user cheekily commented, "My girl pirating so real," while another noted, "The way I know that damn site just by looking at the buttons below." Yet another added, "Not her using fixture."

Adding to the humour, one fan pointed out the irony of Sweeney watching 'Law & Order' while allegedly pirating, writing, "the way she’s watching LAW and ORDER while pirating LMAO," with someone else chiming in, "She’s just like me fr fr."
Despite the accusations, some fans came to Sweeney's defence, citing the increasing costs of streaming services. One user wrote, "Honestly can’t blame her ’cause they keep increasing the cost of streaming services," to which another responded, "Even the ones we pay for they still sneak ads in!"

Back in 2022, Netflix introduced its ad-supported plan, joining Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ in offering subscribers a cheaper, ad-filled option. One fan summed up the frustration many viewers feel, writing, "All the shows we want to watch are all on different streaming services WE NOT PAYING FOR 8 DIFFERENT SERVICES AND NEITHER IS MRS SWEENEY."
