Donna Kelce Gives Taylor Swift a Travis Kelce Jersey Ring Worn

Taylor Swift’s choice to wear the 87 jersey ring to the Kansas City Chiefs game held deeper meaning than initially apparent. Not only does the jersey bear the number of her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, but it also carries a heartfelt connection. 

The ring, crafted by Emily Bordner, owner and creative director of EB and Co., originates from a woman-owned small business based in Kansas City.

However, what adds another layer of sentimentality is the source of the gift itself, Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother.

Bordner shared in an interview with local news outlet KMBC that Donna Kelce had been a fan of her jewellery creations. In a gesture of appreciation, Bordner sent Donna some new pieces, hoping that she would pass them on to Taylor Swift, a known admirer of Kelce-themed products.

“We gifted Donna some pairs. We know that she loved our earrings. And so, we wanted to give her even more Kelce-themed products. So, we sent those to her and then we were hoping that she would give them to Taylor. And she did,” Bordner explained, underscoring the thoughtful gesture behind the gift.

Observant fans keen on detail would have likely noticed that Donna sported matching earrings to complement Swift’s #87 rings during Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
