They were joined by Carter's daughter Bessie, best known for her role as Prudence Featherington in the TV series ‘Bridgerton’. The award-winning musical is currently running for a limited summer season. On the red carpet, the Downton Abbey cast radiated excitement and joy as they awaited their next big project.

Set in the early 20th century, the series explores the lives of the Crawley family and their servants in post-Titanic Britain, offering a fascinating look into British aristocracy and social change. Michelle Dockery, who plays Lady Mary, shared her enthusiasm for reuniting with her co-stars, describing the experience as "a bit emotional". She noted that despite the breakup, it felt like no time had passed at all.

Returning fan favourites include Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Carmichael, as well as newcomers Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale and Artie Fruscian. The cast and crew highlighted the outstanding writing talents of Julian Fellowes, emphasising the importance of "warmth, humanity and emotion" in shaping the film's storyline.
