Dr. Dre Says Eminem Will Release an Album This Year

Eminem is gearing up to drop a new album this year, as revealed by Dr. Dre during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Joining Dre on the show were Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent.

In his chat with Kimmel, Dre spilled the beans, saying, “Eminem is working on his album, which is coming out this year. I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So he has an album coming out, I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire.”

While the record has yet to receive an official announcement from Eminem, details like the title and release date remain under wraps.

Dre also revealed that he’s been busy producing several tracks for the highly-anticipated album. “I’m actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow. He holds his music close to his chest, so I haven’t heard everything. I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year,” he added.

The upcoming release will mark Eminem’s first studio album since 2020’s ‘Music To Be Murdered By’, making it his 11th studio effort. Upon its release, ‘Music To Be Murdered By’ received mixed reviews, with critics pondering Eminem’s evolution as an artist. Some praised his exploration of new sounds and themes, while others questioned his direction in middle age.
