Drake Bell Reflects on ‘Drake And Josh’ Despite Personal Struggles
The actor, who has recently disclosed that he endured years of sexual assault by a Nickelodeon dialogue coach, shared in a new interview with Access Hollywood that he holds beautiful memories from his time leading the sitcom ‘Drake & Josh’ alongside Josh Peck.
Despite the personal darkness he experienced during those years, Bell revealed that whenever he revisits the show, he does so with happiness and joy.

Bell particularly highlighted the positive influence of his co-star, Josh Peck. Recounting their initial collaboration on ‘The Amanda Show’, he fondly remembered a sketch called ‘Tony Pajamas’ where their comedic chemistry first became apparent.
Bell was immediately impressed by Peck’s ad-libbing skills and brilliant comedic timing, feeling an instant connection that he likened to classic comedy duos like Jerry Lewis and Lou Costello.
Though Bell and Peck have not worked together since Drake & Josh concluded, they have remained close. In light of Bell’s revelations about the abuse he suffered, Josh Peck has been a source of support.
Following the release of Bell’s documentary ‘Quiet on Set,’ Peck reached out privately to offer his help and understanding, a gesture that Bell deeply appreciated. Bell emphasised how sensitive and considerate Peck has been, choosing to reach out privately rather than making a public statement, which has been a significant comfort during this difficult time.
