Stephen McKinley Henderson’s Absence

Stephen McKinley Henderson, originally slated to portray House Atreides Mentat Thufir Hawat, was notably absent from ‘Dune: Part Two.’ Villeneuve clarified that the decision to exclude Hawat was a deliberate one, aligning with his vision of focusing on the Bene Gesserit narrative.

Although Hawat’s fate remains undisclosed in the film, Villeneuve’s direction suggests the character may have perished during the invasion, leaving audiences to speculate on his ultimate fate.
