Ed Sheeran, the renowned singer-songwriter behind hits like ‘Bad Habits’, found himself facing a familiar challenge during his recent visit to Japan. Returning to the same cat cafe where he had previously serenaded a group of indifferent felines with his rendition of ‘Thinking Out Loud’, Sheeran discovered that his efforts to win over the elusive audience had yielded little success over the span of a decade.
In a humorous video shared on his Instagram account, Sheeran is seen seated with an acoustic guitar amidst a gathering of feasting felines. As he prepares to perform, the atmosphere is filled with anticipation, with Sheeran undoubtedly hoping to elicit a more enthusiastic response from his feline companions this time around.
However, as soon as Sheeran strikes the first chord, the reaction from the cats is swift and decisive. Most of the furry spectators, seemingly unimpressed by the musical interlude, hastily scatter in different directions, abandoning their meals in a bid to distance themselves from the unexpected auditory assault.
Undeterred by the less-than-enthusiastic reception, Sheeran humorously acknowledges the familiar outcome in the caption accompanying the post:
"Trying to win over the same kitties that ran away from me, same results." Despite his playful demeanour, Sheeran's failed attempt to charm the feline audience serves as a lighthearted reminder of the unpredictable nature of animal behaviour and the enduring mystery of their preferences.
In a heartwarming moment captured, Sheeran delighted fans by sharing a candid snapshot of himself snuggled up with none other than Meredith Grey, one of Taylor Swift's beloved cats. The endearing image, nestled among a collection of snapshots in a social media photo dump, showcased Sheeran's softer side as he cosied up to the fluffy feline companion.
