It had only been the day before that he learned who the famous visitor was. Create Music has released images of Sheeran interacting with the children as well as a video of him singing his 2017 single ‘Perfect’ in front of them.

“His main message was to not let school discourage you if you don’t [quite] fit the mould of an academic life, Never let that discourage you from pursuing your passions and making them your line of work. must work extra harder than others in the field to surpass them and get inspiration from them.”

It emerged later that he had contributed £170,000 to his alma mater to furnish essential equipment for its students through the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation.
