French EDM sensation DJ Snake has called off his highly anticipated six‑city India tour, citing mounting health concerns and the need for surgery. The artist shared a heartfelt message with fans, promising to return stronger after recovery.

Due to serious health concerns, French EDM sensation DJ Snake shocked fans by announcing the cancelation of his eagerly awaited India tour. The global music icon revealed that doctors have advised him to undergo surgery, forcing him to take a break from performing. Fans are disappointed by this news, but the DJ has reassured them that he plans to return stronger after rehabilitation. His planned tour schedule includes six major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.

Electronic dance music (EDM) fans worldwide are disappointed to learn that French producer and DJ sensation DJ Snake has canceled his planned shows, including his much awaited India tour, due to chronic health difficulties. On 26th January, DJ Snake made the announcement straight from his social media account, stating that he has been continuously battling a health condition that doctors say can no longer be put off.

According to his statement, medical professionals have advised that he undergo surgery in early February, followed by a mandatory month of rest and recovery, making it impossible for him to perform at scheduled shows. "This means cancelling all my shows, including the India tour, and that decision has been incredibly hard," he wrote, emphasizing how difficult the choice was. 

DJ Snake, whose real name is William Grigahcine, is well-known throughout the world for his hit-songs that have reached the top of the charts, such as 'Turn Down for What,' 'Lean On,' and 'Taki Taki.' He has established himself as a mainstay in the international EDM scene throughout the years, performing at significant festivals and drawing huge crowds.

In February 2026, he was set to travel India as part of the Sunburn Arena events, which was supposed to take place in six major cities: Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR. Following his previous performances that solidified his fame in the area, fans were excitedly anticipating his appearances, which would have been his third trip to India.

DJ Snake reassured supporters that this break is both essential and brief, even if precise new dates for the India tour and his other international appearances have not yet been disclosed. In his message, he promised, "I'll be back soon, stronger than before," signalling his commitment to returning to the stage once fully recovered. According to medical experts, DJ Snake can reevaluate his performance schedule after the healing time, which is expected to last approximately one month after surgery. Fans and event organizers are currently waiting for more information and formal announcements about ticket refunds or potential future dates.

Even for well-known performers like DJ Snake, the news highlights the significance of putting one's health first, even though it is a setback for the EDM calendar. Supporters from all across the world are still standing by him, hoping that this hiatus would result in a more powerful return.
