Elliot Page and Liv Tyler once found a clever way to blend in with the crowd—even at Comic Con.
Speaking at New York Comic Con 2025, Page, now 38, shared a fun memory from his first San Diego Comic Con back in 2010. At the time, he attended with his Super co-star Liv Tyler, and the two decided to go undercover so they could explore the convention like regular fans.
They wore masks and walked around the convention floor together, enjoying the freedom of not being recognised. Page said it was especially entertaining because, despite the disguise, some fans still asked to take photos with Tyler without realising who she actually was. She was wearing a V for Vendetta mask, which made the moment even more surreal.

Elliot Page's Love For Pop Culture
Page also spoke about his lifelong love of pop culture. He grew up admiring franchises like 'Star Wars,' which he became deeply obsessed with after seeing its theatrical re-release, as well as superhero favourites such as Batman and Spider-Man. In many ways, he said, he felt just like any other Comic Con attendee.
That passion eventually led him to the X-Men universe, where he played Kitty Pryde in 'X-Men: The Last Stand.' Stepping onto such a massive film set after working mostly on indie projects was intimidating at first, but Elliot Page said the experience quickly became positive thanks to how welcoming and kind his castmates were.
He felt the same warmth when he returned to the franchise years later for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.' Being reunited with the cast and continuing to be part of such a legendary series meant a great deal to him.

Over the years, Elliot Page went on to star in superhero-adjacent roles in 'Super' and Netflix's 'The Umbrella Academy,' which wrapped up its final season in 2024.
With more than two decades in the industry, Page has built a loyal global fanbase. At Comic Con, he shared that fans often tell him his work has helped them through difficult moments or played an important role in their own journeys of self-discovery. Those interactions, he said, remain some of the most meaningful experiences of his career.
