Snoop Dogg, 52, took to social media to express his gratitude, saying, “I wanna thank me for listening to Dre over the years and letting him be my teacher, mentor, brother, guardian, protector, and most importantly, a good friend.” The audience cheered when he started rapping.

During his speech, Iovine praised Dre as “the greatest ever,” highlighting his remarkable traits as a friend and collaborator.

It was expected that Eminem would be there given his history of working with Dre. “I think he’s the best MC ever,” said Dre, praising Eminem’s unmatched talent. Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s feud was resolved when Dre was hospitalized in January 2021 for a brain aneurysm, strengthening their bond.

Along with Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent gave an incredible performance at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime show.
