Eminem is back with a bang, unleashing the music video for ‘Doomsday 2’, the fiery single from his 2024 album. Directed by the visionary Cole Bennett, founder of Lyrical Lemonade, the video is a descent into a world teetering on the brink.
The video opens with Eminem, a fifteen-time Grammy winner, rapping directly to the camera from behind a set of yellow curtains. As the song kicks in, he walks backwards through a seemingly normal office space. But chaos erupts around him – the office explodes in a flurry of destruction, mirroring the lyrical apocalypse Eminem unleashes in the song.
Big Sean, Swae Lee, JID, Cordae, Babytron, and Denzel Curry all make cameos, adding fuel to the energetic atmosphere.
Lyrically, Eminem appears to be reigniting a feud with rapper-producer Benzino. He takes aim at Benzino's daughter, Coi Leray, references his financial troubles, and even throws back to past public questions about his sexuality. However, the video isn't all diss tracks. Eminem also shows respect for Cole Bennett, praising the director and closing the song with a declaration of loyalty to his record label, Aftermath.

This isn't the first time Eminem and Cole Bennett have collaborated. Bennett directed the album's first four videos, each showcasing a unique visual style. From the emotional ‘Doomsday’ with Juice WRLD & Cordae to the introspective ‘Guitar in My Room’ with Lil Durk & Kid Cudi, Bennett has proven his ability to translate Eminem's music into captivating visuals.
‘Doomsday 2 ' isn't just a feast for the eyes and ears; it also offers glimpses into Eminem's lyrical world. References to past feuds and personal struggles hint at a deeper narrative, leaving viewers wanting more.
