Eminem Says He Would Love to Make a Joint Album With 50 Cent

The ‘Just Lose It’ artist, Eminem, recently addressed speculations about him collaborating on a new album with his longtime friend and collaborator, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. Speaking on his SiriusXM radio station ‘Shade 45’, Eminem hinted at working on some fresh tunes, stating, “I’m working on a little something.”

Dismissing the rumours about a joint album with the ‘Many Men’ rapper, Eminem expressed, “I don’t know where that’s come from, but it’s crazy. I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 [Cent] album, like, really bad.” He added, “50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour. I told him whatever the [redacted] he needs from me, I’m here. That [redacted] be crazy, though — an album with me and him.”

The camaraderie between the two artists dates back to the early 00s when 50 Cent was signed to Eminem’s record label, Shady Records, in collaboration with Interscope and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment. Before joining Shady Records, 50 Cent faced challenges, having been dropped by his previous label, Columbia, and experiencing industry blackballing. These struggles set the stage for his acclaimed 2003 debut, ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’.’

In other news, Eminem reignited his feud with Benzino in the track ‘Doomsday Pt 2.’ The song revisits Eminem’s past conflict with Benzino, the former publisher of ‘The Source’ magazine and occasional rapper. In this latest release, Eminem doesn’t hold back, mocking Benzino’s financial status and physical appearance.
