Eminem Takes Over as Crypto.com Celebrity Spokesperson, Replacing Matt Damon

Eminem steps in as the fresh face for Crypto.com, taking over from Matt Damon as their latest celebrity spokesperson. The renowned rapper, known offstage as Marshall Mathers, shared a new advertisement on his official social media. The advert features a boxing training montage with Eminem providing a voiceover incorporating crypto terminology like “proof-of-work” and the phrase “Fortune favours the brave.”

Set to premiere during the Lakers NBA Playoff game at the Crypto.com Arena, the ad will also be showcased during other prominent sporting events such as the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and an upcoming UFC event.

Eminem’s takeover follows actor Matt Damon, who headlined Crypto.com’s 2021 ad campaign, using the same slogan, “Fortune favours the brave.” Damon’s involvement included a humorous portrayal on an episode of South Park, where he disclosed that proceeds from the ad supported a water charity.

In additional news, Eminem recently unveiled plans for a new album titled ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).’ Announced via social media alongside a trailer on 26th April the album explores the demise of Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady, prompting an investigative journey.

 Although a specific release date has yet to be announced, the album is slated for a summer debut, with fans given the option to pre-save it.
