Speaking through tears, she expressed her deep gratitude towards her mother, describing her as the most incredible person she knows. Stone credited her mum for instilling in her the belief that she could achieve her dreams, even the seemingly crazy ones.

She said, "I just want to say this in case I don't ever get a chance to again. I really want to thank my mom because she’s the best person I know in the world, she inspires me every single day and she’s always made me believe this kind of crazy idea that I could do something like this and I’m beyond grateful."

Stone continued, acknowledging her mother's pivotal role in shaping her life, saying, "Without her none of this exists, including my life, so thanks for that too, mom. Thank you so much."

Stone's portrayal in the film has already earned her accolades, including a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award. She's also nominated for Best Actress at the upcoming SAG Awards and the Oscars.

'Poor Things' won big at the BAFTA awards, scooping up a total of five awards, including Stone's win and recognition in categories like costume design, makeup & hair, production design and special visual effects.
