Emma Stone Reflects on Cherished Friendship With Taylor Swift

Emma Stone proudly identifies as a devoted fan of Taylor Swift, known as a ‘Swiftie.’ During her recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the 35-year-old actress shared that she has attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour three times.

Stone fondly reminisced about the genesis of her 15-year friendship with Swift, which originated at the Young Hollywood Awards in L.A. back in 2008. The actress revealed that she and Swift stayed connected and developed a strong bond over the years.

Stone disclosed that she attended the opening-night performance of the Eras Tour in March 2023, emphasizing its significance as it took place in her hometown of Glendale, Arizona. Additionally, Stone highlighted a special connection to the tour, noting that Mandy Moore, the choreographer for the Eras Tour, also choreographed her Oscar-winning musical film ‘La La Land’.

Reflecting on Swift’s tour kickoff, the ‘Cruella’ star expressed her awe, describing it as “incredible” to witness.

During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, host Graham Norton inquired whether Emma Stone could confirm the rumour about Taylor Swift’s song ‘When Emma Falls in Love’ being about her. The vault track is from Swift’s July 2023 album, ‘Speak Now’ (Taylor’s Version).

However, Stone remained elusive, responding with a coy “You have to ask her,” prompting Norton to swiftly shift to another topic. Speculations suggest that the song is related to Stone’s past relationship with Kieran Culkin, dating from 2010 to 2011.

Swift rarely discloses the subjects of her songs. When performing ‘When Emma Falls in Love’ live during a Kansas City show in July, she mentioned it was written about one of her best friends.
