Glass Animals Makes Comeback With New Album ‘I Love You So F***ing Much’

Glass Animals have made a comeback with their latest single, ‘Creatures in Heaven’, and the exciting announcement of their upcoming album, ‘I Love You So F***ing Much.’

Scheduled for release on 19th July via Polydor, this album marks the band’s fourth full-length record, following their acclaimed 2020 release, ‘Dreamland.’ Frontman Dave Bayley dives deep into existential themes with ‘Creatures in Heaven,’ describing it as a reflection on moments that shape our lives, regardless of their duration or outcome.

Discussing the single, Bayley expresses, “It’s about a moment in time, be it a split second or a year or whatever, having the capacity to be enormously formative and life-changing. Even if it is over. Or if it doesn’t go as planned. Or if it dies too soon. It is still f***ing beautiful. The love and care and the feeling in that moment live forever. It never really dies. If that’s how you choose to see it.”

The band’s announcement follows the recent news of two upcoming live shows – one in Wild West, California on 11th April and another in Mexico City on 15th April. Eager to reconnect with fans, Glass Animals shared their excitement with a playful message: “Greetings humans of Earth. We’ve missed you, and can’t wait to see you all.”

Accompanying the announcement was a cryptic video teasing the album’s arrival, taking viewers on a cosmic journey through the ‘International Shame Station’ before landing on a rooftop adorned with graffiti spelling out ‘ILYSFM’. The video features Bayley’s soulful vocals asking, “What do you think about when you think about love?”
