Recently, during an interview on ‘The Today Show,’ the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star shared a heartwarming tidbit about his parents’ involvement in his career. Powell revealed that his parents have appeared in every one of his films since the days of ‘Spy Kids 3.’ “Yeah, literally since ‘Spy Kids 3.’ I think they’ve been in every single one,” he fondly mentioned.

Their latest cameo comes in ‘Twisters,’ set to hit theatres this week. Powell excitedly disclosed, “Midway through the movie, there’s an amazing scene where they follow Daisy Edgar-Jones and me.” A video clip showcased his parents sporting cowboy hats, adding a touch of familial charm to the film.
The Powells, including Glenn’s sisters Lauren and Leslie, hail from Austin, Texas, where their parents Cyndy and Glen Powell Sr. nurtured Glenn’s early ambitions to become an actor.
