Grimes Drops New Album

Grimes has dropped a new song titled ‘Love’ which she has shared as being “in response to all the privacy invasion, bad press, online hate and harassment by paparazzi I’ve experienced this week”.

The Canadian artist – real name Claire Boucher – separated from the SpaceX CEO earlier this month after three years together. Musk shared,“We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.

“It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.”

During a recent interview, the artist also joked about how she’ll “be colonizing [one of Jupiter’s moons] Europa separately from Elon for the lesbian space commune.” This is in reference to Elon Musk’s contract with NASA to help reach Europa to find out if its habitable. 

The two have a son, X AE A-XII. In response to fans who were intrigued by this unique name and confused over its pronunciation, the singer shared on her social media, ‘X’ stands for ‘the unknown variable. Æ’ is the Elven spelling of AI, or shorthand for artificial intelligence and the term for ‘love’ in several languages, including Japanese.A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favourite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent,’ she added. The ‘A’ in the name also represents ‘Archangel,’ which she described as her favourite song.
