Gwyneth Paltrow looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet. On the night of 7th December, the 51-year-old Oscar winner graced the closing ceremony of the 2023 Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Gwyneth Paltrow dazzled in a lively yellow sarong gown with shirred puff sleeves that created a ruching effect, gathering at the oversized belted bow around her waist. The dress featured a modest boat neckline and a daring thigh-high slit at its centre. This vibrant gown hails from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2024 collection.
Completing her ensemble, Paltrow paired the gown with yellow open-toe platform heels and adorned herself with diamond and gold drop earrings along with a selection of delicate rings. Her blonde hair was elegantly styled in a slick back bun and she maintained a makeup look that echoed the vibrancy of her dress, featuring peach-tinted lip gloss and bright mauve eyeshadow.

In a conversation at the festival, the actress revealed to the ‘In Conversation’ moderator Jomana Al-Rashid that her early understanding of acting was significantly influenced by her mother, Blythe Danner.

“I grew up watching my mother, who is an actress primarily in theatre, rehearsing plays and exploring the world of the theatre,” shared Paltrow.
Describing her mother’s perspective, Paltrow added, “She would admit to feeling a bit insecure. However, when she graced the stage, she transformed into the most powerful and seamlessly connected force of nature I have ever witnessed. That’s the kind of presence I aspired to embody.”
The actress from ‘Sliding Doors’ was accompanied by several other prominent Hollywood figures on the red carpet at the Red Sea International Film Festival that night. Notable attendees included Halle Berry, Zoe Saldaña, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger, Freida Pinto, Sofia Vergara, Michelle Williams, Johnny Depp and Will Smith.

Before Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance in Saudi Arabia, the ‘Emma’ actress graced The Fashion Awards 2023 at The Royal Albert Hall in London on 4th December. For this event, she donned an all-red vintage Valentino ensemble.
Paltrow wore a strapless, empire-waist gown from the designer’s autumn/winter 1965 couture collection, as reported by British Vogue. The dress boasted a neckline with a plunging middle section and a daring thigh-high slit.
Completing the look, Paltrow accessorized with a long, dramatic Valentino cape, matching stiletto heels, two wrist bangles and a pair of dangling earrings.
