Halle Bailey Reveals The Thought Process Behind Choosing The Unique Name For Her Baby

In an exclusive interview, Halle Bailey delves into the joy of motherhood following the arrival of her baby boy Halo late last year. 

Reflecting on the process of choosing a name for their newborn, Bailey reveals that it was her boyfriend, DDG, who initially suggested the name Halo.

"It was actually my boyfriend's idea," Bailey shares. "He's the one who came up with his name." She expresses their mutual fondness for the name, emphasising, "We just agreed, and we loved it. I love the name Halo."

When asked about any potential connection between her son's name and Beyoncé's song 'Halo' from her 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' album, Bailey responds with a chuckle, "He for sure has a theme song." 

'The Little Mermaid' star announced Halo's birth via Instagram, sharing a touching photo featuring her hand intertwined with her newborn's, adorned with a delicate gold bracelet engraved with the name "Halo."

"Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️," Bailey captioned the sweet post.
