Harry Styles is headed back to 'Saturday Night Live' in a big way—not just as the musical guest but also as the host of the 14th March episode. Announced by NBC, this marks Styles' second time doing "double duty" on the iconic late-night program, combining his sharp sense of humour with live musical performance just days after dropping his long-awaited fourth studio album.

A Return to SNL with New Music and Big Plans

The return of Harry Styles to 'Saturday Night Live' coincides with a significant turning point in his career. 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.' the 32-year-old pop sensation's latest album, is scheduled for release on 6th March, one week prior to his appearance on Saturday Night Live. This record marks his first full album since 2022's Grammy-winning 'Harry's House' and has already stirred excitement with its lead single 'Aperture,' which has broken streaming records and been celebrated for its energetic, dance-friendly sound.

Styles used Instagram to confirm the SNL news, writing "I LOVE NYC as the caption. March 14," expressing his excitement for the upcoming performance. His appearance on 14th March puts him in the unique category of performers who have hosted and played on the show on the same night, something that very few musicians have done in the lengthy history of 'Saturday Night Live.'

Styles did this "double duty" for the first time in 2019 when he brought his own charm and style to Studio 8H. Fans are anticipating an even greater presence on the New York stage now that he is a more seasoned performer with tours and worldwide hits under his belt.

What Can Fans Expect?

While the full SNL lineup and sketches for Styles' hosting night have yet to be revealed, fans are already reflecting on some of his most memorable comedic performances from prior appearances. In the 2019 broadcast, he appeared in skits like an over-enthusiastic Instagram manager and a wacky aircraft pilot, reflecting that his range isn't restricted to just music. Other memorable bits included his humorous monologue and an impersonation of rock icon Mick Jagger in a Family Feud parody—moments that helped establish him as a charismatic on-screen presence, not just a pop star.
