Henry Cavill Thinks Superman Would Fit Right in With The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare
Henry Cavill, widely celebrated for his portrayal of Superman in the DC universe, recently shared an intriguing thought about crossovers between his iconic roles. Known for his performances in ‘Man of Steel,’ ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout,’ Cavill has earned a reputation for embodying strong, charismatic characters. In his latest film, ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,’ directed by Guy Ritchie, Cavill takes on yet another distinctive role, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
In an exclusive interview with India Today, Cavill, alongside co-stars Alex Pettyfer and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, discussed which of their past characters they would like to see in a multiversal crossover with their new movie. Cavill’s response was particularly captivating: “I think Superman would have been pretty useful during World War II, to be fair.” He humorously suggested that the presence of Superman could have significantly shortened the conflict, highlighting the character’s unmatched power and moral integrity.

This playful suggestion was a nod to his more light-hearted, yet memorable performances.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin, recognised for his portrayal of young Voldemort in the ‘Harry Potter’ series, chimed in with a more ominous choice. He suggested bringing the Dark Lord into the fold, imagining a scenario where his sinister character could add a unique twist to the storyline.
