Here’s What Sydney Sweeney Said About Glen Powell Romance Rumors

Sydney Sweeney took the SNL stage by storm as she debuted as a guest host, addressing a plethora of rumours circulating about her, including one involving her ‘Anyone But You’ co-star, Glen Powell. Squashing the online gossip about a romantic entanglement with Powell, Sweeney asserted, “That’s obviously not true.”

She highlighted her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, who had a hand in producing the 2023 romantic comedy and emphasized his constant presence during the shoot. “He’s the man of my dreams and we’re still together and stronger than ever,” Sweeney affirmed, prompting a cut to her fiancé in the audience, which amusingly turned out to be Powell.

Sweeney cheekily poked fun at the box office performance of ‘Madame Web,’ the Marvel-Sony movie she starred in alongside Dakota Johnson. “You definitely did not see me in ‘Madame Web,’” she quipped.

Eager to reveal her authentic self, Sweeney expressed, “I feel like people only see me as the girl on TV who screams cries and has s*x. Sometimes it’s all three at the same time.” She also disclosed her roots, hailing from Spokane, Washington, while sharing a special affinity for Idaho. She joked about her tendency to switch her hometown narrative from Washington to Idaho when conversations take an awkward turn.

Referencing snapshots from her mum’s birthday bash shared on social media, Sweeney tackled various controversies surrounding her online presence. She addressed a recent TikTok accusation challenging her stint as the host of the Tram Tour at Universal Studios, quipping, “Someone online accused me of lying about that, which is insane… if I didn’t work there, how would I know all of the Universal characters, like Shrok, the Munions and Harry Porter.”
