Hometown of Harry Styles Seeks Fans to Become Tour Guides

The charming English village of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, is on the hunt for a special kind of tour guide: a passionate devotee of Harry Styles themself. This exciting new initiative, titled ‘Harry’s Home Village Tour Guides’, aims to elevate the visitor experience for the throngs of fans flocking to see Styles’ hometown.  As Peter Whiers, chairman of the village, explains, the goal is to ensure visitors have “a truly memorable experience.”

The ideal candidate for this unique role will possess a captivating storytelling ability and a deep knowledge of Holmes Chapel’s history, particularly as it intertwines with Harry Styles’ roots.

The guided walking tours represent a significant upgrade from the previous offering: a self-guided Harry Styles Walking Map launch. This map proved immensely popular, attracting over 5,000 visitors and generating a noticeable boost in tourism for the village.

Among the most popular destinations is Mandeville’s bakery, where Styles once worked before his X Factor audition, and the Twemlow Viaduct, affectionately nicknamed “Harry’s Wall.” Even during harsh weather, fans have made pilgrimages to pay homage to these iconic landmarks.

This surge in Styles-inspired tourism has not gone unnoticed by local businesses, many of whom now incorporate Harry references throughout the village. Holmes Chapel and Mandeville’s bakery received a global spotlight in One Direction’s tour movie ‘This Is Us.’

While Styles may no longer reside in his hometown, he’s been spotted recently in London and its surrounding areas, sometimes with his girlfriend Taylor Russell.
