Aegon and Larys went into hiding, while Aemond confronted Helaena regarding her dragon-riding ambitions, only to face rejection. The episode concluded with Alicent’s covert visit to Dragonstone to negotiate peace with Rhaenyra, which ultimately led to her betrayal of her sons to ensure her and Helaena’s escape.

In a recent press conference, Condal shed light on the forthcoming Season 3, hinting at the highly anticipated Battle of the Gullet. This major battle promises to be a focal point of the new season, with Condal explaining that creating such elaborate scenes requires extensive resources.
