Rhaenyra muses on the gods' contempt for a family feud, but her aunt Rhaenys grimly reminds her that a battle between dragons is far more deadly. While dragons fill the skies with fiery retaliation, Daemon gets ready for the increasing carnage.
House of the Dragon was a great success
Inspired by George R.R. Martin's ‘Fire & Blood’, ‘House of the Dragon’ tells the story of House Targaryen 200 years before the events presented in ‘Game of Thrones’. The year 2019 marked the end of the eight-season run of the original television series, ‘Game of Thrones’.
HBO quickly approved the production of House of the Dragon's second season after the show's successful 21st August 2022 premiere.

Ryan Condal shared that Season 2 will be more intense
Ryan Condal, a co-creator of the show, has stated that a more intense second season will be made possible by the foundations set in Season 1.
At the end of the first season, he said, "Season 1 was setting the table for a very bloody feast to come." Condal highlighted how serious the attempt was to delve into each character's past, tracing the long history that included their fathers and grandfathers. This approach attempts to give a thorough grasp of the circumstances that lead these characters to become involved in a civil war with one another.
