Ice Spice Performs 'Phat Butt' And 'Think You The S--- (Fart)' 2024 BET Awards

The ‘Munch’ singer, Ice Spice, performed two tracks from her forthcoming debut album, Y2K, at the 2024 BET Awards. The rapper took the stage in a sexy, white lace-sleeved two-piece outfit complete with furry white boots and her signature red curls. She started her performance with her newest song from the upcoming album, ‘Phat Butt’.

Accompanied by several male and female backup dancers wearing either purple letterman jackets or black leather jackets with cropped bikini tops underneath, Ice Spice set her performance against a city-themed set. The backdrop included a graffiti garage door, dancers pulling out moves from on top of motorcycles, and an entire prop gas station, creating a dynamic and urban atmosphere.

Ice Spice transitioned into her highly memed and playful track ‘Think You the S--- (Fart)’ to close her performance. The rapper and her backup dancers executed a sexy synchronised dance number that ended with two dancers holding out working lighters, "blowing up" the gas station behind her in an explosion of lights and fire on the screen. This dramatic ending added an explosive visual element to her set.

In addition to her performance, Ice Spice is nominated for three awards at the 2024 BET Awards. Following her debut at the BET Awards in 2023, she has been recognized in categories including Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, and Video of the Year for ‘Barbie World’ with Nicki Minaj and Aqua. Her nominations highlight her rising prominence in the music industry.

The Grammy-nominated Bronx native announced the release of her first LP in early June on social media. "HIIIII >.< ," she wrote to fans, "Y2K ☆ THE ALBUM WILL BE DROPPING JULY 26TH !!!!" The announcement was met with excitement from her fans, eagerly awaiting her debut album.

Ice Spice hinted at Y2K back in November when she shared snaps of herself on Instagram flaunting a lower back tattoo. In addition to the album announcement, she also revealed that she would be embarking on a world tour, kicking off in Roskilde, Denmark.
