Is Lady Gaga Working on New Music?

Lady Gaga has set the music world abuzz with hints of her return to the studio.

Taking to Instagram, Gaga shared a story revealing audio waves on a computer screen and layers of music, teasing her fans that she’s been hard at work on fresh material. Shortly after, another Instagram story emerged, featuring Gaga seated beside a guitar and a typewriter, its pages blurred out, adding to the intrigue.

Despite the tantalising glimpses, concrete details about the new music are yet to surface. Nevertheless, this isn’t the first time Gaga has teased her involvement in new musical endeavours.

Earlier this year, the multi-talented artist shared two photos from the studio – one capturing her standing before a microphone, with a drum kit in the background, and the other offering a wider view of the room, complete with a guitar and tambourine on the couch.

Gaga’s last release was her collaborative LP ‘Love For Sale’ with the late Tony Bennett. Before that, Gaga’s solo album ‘Chromatica’, released in 2020, was met with critical acclaim, hailed for its catchy choruses and glossy production.

The recent tease coincides with Gaga’s announcement of her return to Las Vegas for her ‘Jazz & Piano’ 2024 summer residency this June. The 13-time Grammy Award-winning artist will grace the stage at the Dolby Live at Park MGM for an eight-night run, commencing on 19th June and culminating on select dates until 6th July.
