Describing Lively as “an angel,” Ferrer highlights the significance of their on-set connection. “To be able to connect with the person that you’re sharing a role with is huge, and she’s just a really good person,” Ferrer explains. The actress emphasizes how crucial mutual support was during the filming process, particularly given the emotional depth of the source material.

Lively, who stars as Lily Bloom in the adaptation, expresses her gratitude for the support she received from loved ones at the film’s premiere. “It’s the best” to have her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and family members, including her mother Elaine and sisters Robyn and Lori, present at the event, Lively shares. She further details her appreciation for their presence and the encouragement they provided.

On the red carpet, Lively made a fashion statement by donning a vintage Versace gown previously worn by Britney Spears in 2002. She confirms that the dress is indeed the “actual” gown worn by Spears over two decades ago, adding a personal touch to the evening’s festivities.

The premiere saw Ferrer, Lively, and Reynolds joined by their co-stars Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, and Alex Neustaedter, as well as the book’s author, Colleen Hoover. The event highlighted the strong camaraderie among the cast and the significant impact of the novel’s adaptation.
